MB 45 Modern system of aluminium profiles designed to construct outdoor and indoor archictectural elements where no thermal insulation is needed, like partition walls, windows, doors, sliding or swing doors, show-cases, cashier boxes or cabinets.
System Features. Compatibility with the other Metalplast Bielsko's systems, especially with the thermal inlay MB 60 and MB 70 window and door system. This feature allows to use many of the standard components, like: glass panel mounting strips, corners, sealing strips, seals, hardware, hinges as well as many common process procedures. Compatibility of the design with applicable European standards for hardware, locks, hinges. Possibility of fullfilling customer's needs without necessity to change the basic structure. Many special constructions can be accomplished using the system, eg. Firewalls (MB 45F), smoke barriers (MB 45D) The flexibility of the system offers some choice between several design options differing in technical design, eg.: lower door sealing. On the outside, closed window and door wings are flush with each other; the depth of window profiles: 45 mm (window frame), 54 mm ( window wing) and 54 mm and 45 mm (door). The dimensions of the grooves in the profiles are compatible with Euro standard in order to use the typical hardware and connectors. Hardware of renowned suppliers are employed in the system: ROTO, FAPIM, GEZE, DR. HAHN. An essential advantage of the MB 45 system is the possibility of bending the profiles into arcs and arc structures. Glass or other filling panels can be arranged adjacently; panels ranging in thickness from 1 up to 36 mm and from 1 up to 27 mm can be mounted in the window wings and in door wings/ fixed windows, respectively. The system features an efficient way of water drainage and ventilation. The protective and decorative surface of the aluminium profiles can be either chromated in silver, gold, brown, olive and champain colour or powder lacquered using polyester lacquer on primer. For the latter, a selection of 180 RAL colours is available.
MB 60 Modern aluminium system designed in accordance with the newest architectural trends for demanding indoor and outdoor applications requiring thermal and accoustic insulation, for example: various types of windows, doors, show-cases, 3D-structures. Windows and doors of this systems can be used in any climatic conditions and any type of building, including housing. The system complies with applicable standards for thermal protection of buildings and with ecological and health protection requirements regarding the form, appearance, strength and functionality. The solution provides for minimalization of heat wastes and protection against the cold and noise.
System Features. at wastes and protection against the cold and noise.
(a)System Features. Compatibility with the other Metalplast Bielsko's systems, especially with the MB 45 window and door system without thermal inlay. This feature allows to use many of the standard components, like: glass panel mounting strips, corners, sealing strips, seals, hardware, hinges as well as many common process procedures which contributes to cost reduction. Very effective thermal and accoustic insulation. The 3-chamber profile design with internal insulation chamber and an additional internal seal over the whole circumference of the openable windows. The thermoinsulating chamber consists of thermal inlays having width 24 mm; an internal seal adjacent to the inlays seals off the window increasing considerably its thermal insulating properties. By such a way, the condensation of water on the internal side of the profile is limited. The possibility of creating show-cases and large glass structures. Compatibility of the design with applicable European standards as regards hardware, locks, hinges. Possibility of fullfilling customer's needs without necessity to change the basic structure. Variety of functions and ways of opening. Possibility of connections at optional angles. On the outside, closed window and door wings are flush with each other; the depths of window profiles are 60 mm (window frame), 69 mm (wing) and 60 mm (door). The dimensions of the grooves in the profiles are compatible with Euro standard in order to use the typical hardware and connectors. Hardware of renown suppliers, like ROTO, FAPIM, GEZE, DR. HAHN are employed in the MB 60 system. An essential advantage of the MB 60 system is the possibility of bending the profiles into arcs and arc structures. The system features an efficient way of water drainage and ventilation. The protective and decorative surface of the aluminium profiles can be chromated in different colours or powder lacquered. Two colour profiles are possible: different inside and on the facade.
The Facade System MB SR 50. A modern aluminium system for thermally insulated architectural structures, for indoor and outdoor installations, like curtain walls, large glass-filled surfaces or 3-D structures like winter gardens, verandas, skylights, canopies.
System Features. The system employs aluminium profiles. 50 mm wide pillars and beams are thermally insulated and designed according to applicable European standards. By special design of the pillars and beams, the profiles are slim and strong and have rounded corners which makes them look softer. Facades constructed using the profiles have attractive appearance with narrow division lines. Flexibility of the system makes it possible to construct concave or convex walls, creating corner fragments, broken horizontally or vertically. So, variety of possible constructions ranges from a typical panel wall, extended walls having large glass surfaced fixed to existing buildings or special steel structures or filling walls and upto 3-D structures like rotundas, winter gardens, halls, verandas, canopies, skylights, etc. The number of pillars which can have different depth and moment of inertia ranging from 55 upt 700 cm4, which should be in the system depends on the external load and divisions. In case of extremely big loads, all pillars can be strengthen by additional aluminium or steel profiles. Strapped joint of the beam and the pillar and apertures in the mounting and masking strips provide for proper water drainage and wall ventilation. Half-pillars are incorporated in the system to make the wall segment installation easier and to compensate horizontal expansion joints. Vertical expansion is compensated by proper pillar mounting in the supports and by telescope connections. A continuous HPVC thermal inlay, or insulator, having excellent insulating properties and extruded EPDM glass panel seals assure good thermal and accoustic properties. By such design, in its standard version, the system has thermal insulating properties complying with DIN 4108. Increased fire resistance version F 0,5 is offered as an option. MB-SR 50, an attractive version added to the system and called 'the horizontal line" features a two-edge glass panel support in the beam area and the horizontal masking strips which divide the facade with gentle horizontal lines. In this solution, tilting structural glazing windows can be used.
The Structural Facade MB SG 60. A modern aluminium system designed to construct thermally insulated structural walls, or building facades, giving an impression of an uniform surface with tilting windows which do not disturb the appearance of the structure.
System Features. The load carrying pillar-and-beam structure, to which the facade elements are attached, is invisible from the outside. The structural glass or natural stone panels are glued to the aluminium frames. The facade looks as if made of glass or stone. The pillar-and-beam structure incorporates thermoinsulating inlays. The load carrying structure-facade elementa contact area is well sealed using frame-shaped seals with vulcanized corners. The profiles have doubled water drain system. All these features assure good thermal insulation, watertightness and water drainage of the system. It is possible to incorporate into the wall the tilting windows without changing the structure appearance. The system works well without the window panel protecting strips, with point protection or with the profile enveloping the panel which does not have detrimental effect the facade appearance.
MB -78EI Firewalls with doors. The MB - 78EI system is designed to build indoor and outdoor firewalls with single or double winged doors corresponding the fire resistance class EI15, EI30, EI45 or EI60 as set in the PN-EN 1336-1 and PN-EN 1364.1. The system is classified as a nonprogating flame one (NRO). Smoke-proof structures are also possible in the system. The profiles have 3-chamber design. The design depth of the profiles is 78 mm. The advantage of the MB-78EI system is its low heat transfer coefficient achieved by incorporating specially shaped 34 mm wide thermal inlays. Fire stopping elements are inserted into profile chambers and areas between profiles. The elements are made of silicate-concrete plates PROMETECT-H. Glass panels and other filling panels are set in steel holders and ceramic sealings and are masked with masking strips and EPDM seals. Such method of assembly permits replacement of damaged glass panels and assures good protection against penetration of rain water. The firewall system is compatible with the standard Metalplast-Bielsko systems to a big extent. –MB45. MB60, MB70 Features. The design: Rich selection of colours by anodizing or powder lacquering: more than 180 colours by RAL palette. All standard fire resistant glass panes ranging in thickness from 13 utpo 49 mm can be used. Tightness and insulating properties. 3-chamber profile design with internal insulating chamber; thermal insulating properties according to DIN 4108, material group 2.1. Excellent accoustic insulation, up to 40 dB. Hardware: The system hardware is carefully matched to the expected service load, weight and size of wings and selected from the range of renowned suppliers like DR HAHN, WALA, SAVIO, ECO SCHULTE.
